Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish. Every week they come up with a topic and invite whoever wants to add their own list to their own blog.
I’m sorry… I do not really watch a whole lot of TV… so I’m really sorry that most of these shows are super old and outdated.
Here are my Top Ten books you may enjoy if you like the following TV shows:
Anything on ABC Family – Pretty Amy by Lisa Burstein, The Infinite Moment of Us by Lauren Myracle
Gilmore Girls – Going Vintage by Lindsey Leavitt
Freaks & Geeks or My So-Called Life – Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
Bones – The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting
Once Upon a Time – Kill Me Softly by Sarah Cross
Felicity – This Is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith
Wizards of Waverly Place – A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snickett, Welcome Caller, This is Chloe by Shelby Coriell
Sailor Moon – The Lunar Chronicles by Marisa Meyer (Cinder, Scarlet, Cress)
Scrubs or Parks and Recreation – The Chapel Wars by Lindsey Leavitt, Also Known As and Going Rogue by Robin Benway
Game of Thrones – Song of Fire and Ice by George R.R. Martin (duh), His Fair Assassains series by Robin LaFevers (Grave Mercy, Dark Triumph)
Oooh I love your list. I’m especially loving the Sailor Moon/Lunar Chronicals match up. Now that you saw it, I totally get it. I love the Gilmore Girls pairing too. I think Going Vintage captures the quirk of Gilmore Girls.
Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks! Apparently Marisa Meyer used to write Sailor Moon fan fiction; I love seeing similar elements pop up in the books! 🙂

YES to Sailor Moon and The Lunar Chronicles. Marissa Meyer did used to write Sailor Moon fan fic, and I definitely see how that influenced her in writing The lunar Chronicles – especially Cinder.

Sailor Moon? Maybe that’s why I wasn’t crazy about Cinder. My sister used to watch the Sailor Moon series all the time, and I never understood the appeal.

I’m a big ABC Family fan, though I haven’t been watching it as much as I use to. Still, I’ve been wanting to read The Infinite Moment of Us so I happy to see the comparsion!

The cast of characters in The Chapel Wars is so colorful that it reminds me of the Scrubs cast! Hope you get to read it soon and enjoy it as much as I did!
