Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine highlighting upcoming books that we are eagerly anticipating. I don’t often participate in this, but I wanted to today because I’m seriously waiting on this one!
I hate waiting. With a passion. I was not blessed with the patience to wait and am very much an instant gratification type girl. So waiting on books that I’ve been hearing so much about is worse than waiting for Christmas to get here. Luckily, there are several books coming out very soon so I don’t have to wait for very long!
Today’s Waiting on Wednesday is The Lost Prince by Julie Kagawa.
I couldn’t find a summary of the book – if you find one, lemme know! – but here’s what I know so far: The Lost Prince follows Meghan Chase’s younger brother Ethan, who is still “plagued” by the world of the fey.
I got to read a sneak peak the other day and wow! It’s going to be fantastic. I’m always hesitant to read books in series that are from the point of view of a different main character, but from what I can tell, Ethan is going to be a great character, just like his big sis!
The Lost Prince is set to come out October 2012! Which I know sounds far away… but that gives you ample time to reread the Iron Fey series!

*stares at cover* Wow. *stares at cover some more* WOW! That is a very nice cover! 🙂 I adored Ethan in The Iron Fey series, so it will be nice to get him his own spin-off series! I don’t want to wait for this book, either! I will just have to be placated by staring at the cover some more… >< Thanks for sharing!

Haha, yeah… Ethan sure has grown up since we last saw him! I don’t know if it’s a spin-off or just another chapter to the Iron Fey series. Either way, it’s gonna be great!
