Top Ten Tuesday – I wants the bookish things

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish. Every week they come up with a topic and invite whoever wants to add their own list to their own blog.

Blame it on the blogging but I’ve developed a love for bookish things.

Here are some bookish things I want and some I already have:

Alice in Wonderland Water Bottle – I love Alice in Wonderland and this water bottle incorporates one of my favorite scenes into something I probably need to invest in.

pearl bracelet
Hunger Games Pearl Bracelet
– This would only be better if Peeta gave it to me himself. I love these simple cord bracelets, despite not owning any.

narnia map frame

Framed Map of Narnia – You all know about my Narnia obsession. This would look FABULOUS in my living room.

mawwage sign

Mawwage banner from The Princess Bride – I’ve never read the book but this is one of my favorite scenes from the movie. I quote it quite a bit (Anybody want a peanut?) and think this would be super cute at my wedding. Hopefully I meet someone that’s cool with me incorporating all my book/nerd love!

narnia bookends

Chronicles of Narnia bookends – I really do love bookends. I don’t have any, but I love them a whole lot. I’ve been wanting to get some Narnia ones

Frame Bookshelves – I think I may beg my dad to make these for me. I thought they were so unique and a really fun way to display my books and knick-knacks!

Peeta Ring – Tee from YA Crush sent me this gorgeous ring which I wore the next day to work! You can’t REALLY see, but it’s got this really pretty filigree band that’s super fun. You can also see my Dr. Who bookmark… but that’s for another post!

Book Page Covered “C” – My Secret Santa sent me all these fabulous goodies. I absolutely ADORE the C she sent though. Very “me” and very cute!

Hideous frame not included (thank goodness for you!)

Narnia Print – I made this a while back. Put it in a different frame because c’mon… that shit is hideous. But I love this print oh so much. It’s sitting in my foyer next to my collection of Narnia books!

    1. At my wedding, we had the whole mawwage speech recited by the officiant. The hardest part was her keeping a straight face while she said it. Afterwards, she said, “Your poor family. They all thought I had a speech impediment.”

  1. Ohhhhh my goodness. You have made me want so many more things now. I especially love the frame bookshelves, and the “Real or not real?” pearl necklace. And that “Mawwage” sign will definitely be at my wedding!
