To Do Lists, Young Adult

You remind me of someone I met in the marketplace…

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish. Every week they come up with a topic and invite whoever wants to add their own list to their own blog.

I’ve been a little hesitant to do this one because I feel like if I pick a particularly awesome character and say they remind me of myself I’ll sound sort of egotistical. Because it’s kind of like saying that I’m particularly awesome.

Whatever. I can live with that!

Here are my Top Ten Characters who remind me of myself:

Elisa from The Girl of Fire and Thorns – Elisa likes to eat all the foods. I like to eat all the foods.

Mia from The Princess Diaries – Although I’m not nearly as spaztastic as Mia is, I feel like a lot of her likes, dislikes, and personality quirks are exactly like mine.

Francesca’s Mom from Saving Francesca – Okay, totally random, but Francesca’s mom made me think a lot about myself.

Celaena from Throne of Glass – I thought her wit and sharp tongue were very close to mine! Or at least what I HOPE mine are!

Fire from FireEverybody’s attracted to me. I feel like I share her fear of truly embracing who she is and who she can be.

Katerina from Heist Society – I’m attracted to Hale too.

So I didn’t do too well getting 10… 6 will have to do!

  1. Your title made me smile – I love Aladdin 🙂 And your reason for including Katerina is perfect. Can’t wait to read Throne of Glass. I’ve been hearing so many good things about it. Great list, all these characters are awesome and so are you.

Haha I love this: Fire from Fire – Everybody’s attracted to me
6 isn’t bad! I stretched some of mine a bit. Oops.

  3. I’m totally Katarina too and I will TAKE YOU ON for Hale. *swoons*

(And I totally know what you mean about feeling egotistical comparing yourself to characters. I almost didn’t add Katsa to my list because I was like nope she’s too awesome.)

  4. LOL when I read books I love to put myself into the shoes of the characters till the point where I forget who I really am sometimes! Okay, maybe that’s exaggerating but *coughs* I’m falling for Hale from Heist Society too 😉
