Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish. Every week they come up with a topic and invite whoever wants to add their own list to their own blog.
The internet was undoubtedly created for information exchange, and while I do use it for that purpose, I often find it’s the best place to waste time when I should be working. There are many, MANY sites that were created for just that purpose and I thank them for giving me something to do when I don’t want to work.
Here are my Top Ten Blogs/Sites You Read That AREN’T about Books :
Some E-Cards – This is my favorite… who knew putting random, funny captions on old-looking pictures would be so hilarious?
#whatshouldwecallme – I feel like tumblr is the greatest invention ever. This site is why.
al.com – Okay, I like to keep up with my local news. I’m not all fun and games, you know.
College Humor – I know, my humor really hasn’t advanced much since college – although I like to think it’s refined a little bit – so this site is sometimes perfect for me. I mostly look up funny Zelda videos though, because I’m dorky like that. (such as this one that I’ve watched a billion times! Zelda and Peach Catch Up)
A Dollop of Dixie – A blog started by one of my sorority sisters, which is now a business! Even if you don’t order anything, check out some of her blog videos; they will make you pee your pants from laughing!
ModCloth – This isn’t a site I peruse daily, or even monthly. But I loooovvvveee this site! The clothes on it are so unbelievably cute that I want to own them all.
Gmail – Gotta do all my chatting while I should be working!
Faerie Tale Theatre on YouTube – Seriously, this is the best remedy for whenever you have the blues, it’s raining outside, there’s nothing on TV, you’ve read all your books… nothing better than watching serious actors starring as your favorite fairy tale characters.
Downton Abbeyonce – Again… tumblr=greatest invention ever!
Disgruntled Girls – A friend of mine’s blog… very cute, albeit not updated in a good while!
Dang, I really didn’t realize how many book sites I actually visit! I need to broaden my Internet horizons!
The Grown-Up YA

And OMG Faerie Tale Theatre! My sister and I used to watch that all the time when we were kids… And it’s on YouTube!? I’ll definitely have to check that out…

Oh my goodness, Faerie Tale Theater! I used to rent those videos as a kid. (Remember videos?) I loved those movies. Robin Williams as the Frog Prince. That one totally stands out in my mind.

I love Modcloth. Their clothes are so great. I used to peruse the store fairly often, but like you, I’ve dropped out of that habit in the past couple of months.
